Fears



Fear is a normal human emotional reaction.It is a powerful, unpleasant feeling of risk or danger, either real or imagined. Fear serves as motivation to escape to safety. An example of this may be something dangerous. During this situation the blood goes to big muscles (like legs) allowing the person to run faster.


Most people tend to avoid the things they feel afraid of. However, some people seek out of thrill of extreme sports, for example because the rush of fear can be exciting.


Most teenagers have some social fears like the fear of being embarrassed or rejected or fear of failing.




Popular people:


Barbara Streisand has a social fear. She was afraid of singing for public for twenty seven years. Streisand learnt to cope with her stage fright.




Kim Basinger is reported to suffer from panic and social fear too. It was very difficult for her to take her Oscar award in front of huge crowd. But she has had psychological therapy and it has been the solution of her problems.




To overcome fear you need:




  • be strong-minded


  • relax psychological


  • stop obsessing thoughts about the feared objects or events.
